Alumni Scholarship Fund

Have you ever encountered an alumni organization that didn’t ask for help keeping the institution alive?  All institutions face funding challenges  and Cathoic schools are no different in that regard.  However, we trust that you have personally realized  that they are different in other regards. For several years NCEA used the theme, “Different Where it Counts,” to describe Catholic education. The theme highlighted that education is about more than readin’. ‘ritin’ and ‘rithmetic. For a Catholic school education is about discipleship. Education is about, “How you do life” — this is, Faith!

We are always a work in progress!

As you reflect on your grade school experience we pray that you feel a sense of gratitude and want to extend that opportunity to the next generation.  We pray that you feel a sense of purpose in that you really do have the ability to make a difference for others.  We pray that you have a sense of generosity and are inclined to make a contribution to the SMMA Alumni Scholarship Fund.

The money collected through this effort will be dispensed at the confidential discretion of the pastor as tuition assistance.  This fund is a resource especially for families that run into difficult periods.

                Thank you !
